Pamela Watkins is an accomplished HR professional with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Pam has in-depth knowledge in implementing human resource management strategies to recruit, train, and retain a high-performing and motivated workforce. Pam has been a change agent specializing in organizational development, talent management, organizational restructuring, employee relations, and health and safety. Recently, she has been certified in managing Employee Health and Safety programs in Canada. Also recognized for HR consulting, Pam has completed project work for performance management, job descriptions, recruiting, succession planning, employee health and safety, employee and management training, and employee relations.
Pam is best known locally for her work as an HR and Safety Director in several manufacturing companies and her role as Site Administrator, managing CareerLink® offices in Venango, Crawford, Clarion, Forest and Warren Counties. She has experience with an international company managing HR, Employee Health, and Safety functions for its employees in 38 states across the U.S.
Pam’s experience covers all aspects of Human Resources and Safety including: company compliance, recruiting, on-boarding, training and development, performance management, employee retention, benefits management, payroll management, compensation programs and employee relations.
Pam attended Penn State and the Human Resources Degree Completion Program at Geneva College. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health and Spiritual Care. She is certified as a Safety Professional in the U.S. and Canada.
Active in the Northwest PA community, Pam was one of the founding members of the Venango County HR Group and the Clarion HR Group. She has held various volunteer positions for United Way of Venango County, the Venango Chamber of Commerce, Oil City Rotary, Oil City-Franklin Zonta, and the Red Cross. Pam is a recognized instructor for workshops in Customer Relations, Management Training, Employee Health and Safety, Business Ethics, Communications, Human Resources, and Holistic Health. Pam has also been engaged as a guest speaker on many Human Resource and Safety topics, most recently presenting on “Internal Succession Planning – Preparing for, Training, and Development of Future Talent.”
